- Greg finished socks using the Fish Lips Kiss Heel pattern and String Theory Colorworks yarn in the Dark Matter colorway.
- Greg is about to cast on some fingerless mitts using yarn from Leading Men Fiber Arts.
- Greg 3D-printed some pompom buttons: Pom Pom Button and PomPom Button / Holder for Beanie / Hat.
- Greg opened new sock yarn from String Theory Colorworks for his next pair of socks.
Pam’s Projects
- Pam is working a pair of Fish Lips Kiss Heel Socks. She is using String Theory Colorworks yarn in the displacement base and the colorway Black Body Radiation.
- Pam worked on a thermal stitch crochet potholder using KnitPicks Dishie. She uses these wooden rings in 35mm. Pam uses the pattern/recipe from My Crochet Space. The written directions can be found here and the Youtube tutorial can be found here.
- Pam finished several Melt the Ice Hat Mini Pin by Kathy Pereira de Almeida. She used Patons Kroy Socks Fx in Geranium Colors.
- Pam started the Cloud Iridescence blanket by Kathyrn Bernard. She is using KnitPicks Mighty Stitch in fingering weight and several colors of mohair/alpaca silk yarns.
- Pam worked on the Winding Road Scarf by Tetiana Otruta. She using yarn from Knitting Notions.
Miscellaneous
- Pam shared a New York Times article about chimps loving crystals.
- Pam shared the names of two books she has enjoyed: Red Rising by Pierce Brown and All The Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker.
- Pam attended Faithful Resistance: A Public Witness for Immigrant Justice in Washington, DC.
- Pam and Greg are planning to attend Carolina FiberFest March 13-14 and will have a meetup on the morning of Saturday, March 14 at 8am at Lucky Tree coffee shop in Raleigh.
